Mike Hjalmarson

Mike Hjalmarson has been practicing law in Harris County Texas for thirty years. He is a former police officer and insurance claim manager. Mike graduated from Northern Arizona University and South Texas College of Law. While at South Texas, Mike received the Bancroft/Whitney Award for achieving the top score in his law school torts class. Mike has tried, as first chair, numerous lawsuits on the both the Plaintiff and Defense side of the docket. In December 1989 he was certified by the State Bar of Texas as a specialist in personal injury trial. For the past seven years Mike has served on the committee that approves lawyers for specialization. Mike currently sits on the testing committee for the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization Department. Mike is a veteran of the US Navy, a mason, and an active member of the Methodist Church. Mike is married with two adult children.

Langdon Smith

Langdon Smith is a graduate of the University of Texas and South Texas College of Law. He graduated Cum Luade at South Texas. Langdon earned numerous awards in recognition of his academic achievement during law school. He was Assistant Managing Editor of the South Texas Law Review. Langdon has been practicing law in Harris County for ten years. During this period of time he has handled cases involving aircraft negligence, oil field accidents, motor vehicle negligence and product defect cases. Langdon has extensive trial and appellate experience. He has obtained seven figure settlements and verdicts during his career. Langdon is married with two children.

Bill Hancock

Bill Hancock is a graduate of the University of Texas and South Texas College of Law. Bill joined the law firm in 1998 in order to assist in the firm’s growing litigation practice. He has been practicing law in Harris County for over twelve years. Bill has handled and tried personal injury, divorce, criminal, probate, real estate, contract, commercial, and administrative law cases during that period of time. For the past seven years he has focused primarily on personal injury trial work. Bill has tried over fifty cases to either the bench or the jury in his career. He receives referrals from numerous other attorneys in the Harris County area who want him to handle their civil litigation. Bill is married.
